Hello and welcome to the salty club podcast, I am your host Caitlin Creeper and I am here today with the first episode of a new series, Poems with Mates.
Here I will be inviting some talented humans in our community to come up to the stage, share a poem, a song, a piece of writing of theirs and share why it matters to them.
First up is the incredibly talented Lily Bui, PhD. She’s a Spanish Speaking Vietnamese American, MIT Alum 2016 and 2020, athlete, academic, artist, poet, singer activist and a first gen surfer, skater and seeker. If there’s anyone who exemplifies the many facets of a woman, it is this woman and I am so excited for you to here the beautiful song she’ll be playing today, and what the song means to her.
